This should come of no surprise to anyone who knows or who have watched Montana play basketball. She has dedicated years to mastering her style of play and her competitive spirit.
It is most fitting that Montana ended her high school career with this award since she won the Rookie of the Year Award in her grade 10 year!

Here are a few quotes and a link to the main article on CanadaFootballChat.com about Harland Hastings playing with the Acadia Axeman next year.
Harland Hastings spent the past 3 years playing cornerback for Centennial. Due to his hard work as a Coyote, he will be going to home to become an Axeman!
Here are a couple of quotes from the article:
“Before grade ten Harland had never played football. As a matter of fact he was new to contact sports altogether. Harland grew up competing in gymnastics, which is where a lot of his physical ability can be traced back to. When the high school football season came around, Harland decided he would give it a try and strapped on the pads. As it just so happened, Harland liked contact.”
“Really though I am just going to be happy playing for Acadia. I look forward to living back in Nova Scotia, that’s where I am from originally and all of my family is back there, it should be a good four years.”
Harland’s highlight video (produced by Coach Melrose) is also in the article.
